It was the consensus of <br /> the Board to postpone the Public Hearing in this matter <br /> until such time as- the Cape Cod Commission has rendered a <br /> decision. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balarini made a Motion to continue <br /> the Public nearing in this matter to April 1 , 2003, a <br /> 7 :45 p.m. ; which Motion was seconded by Steve Dolan and so <br /> voted unanimously. <br /> Discussion Items <br /> Gail Barnes - Residents <br /> Southport Development - Route 1 1/Old Barnstable Road <br /> Phase II Clearing and Related Issues <br /> The Chairman recognized Linda Fletcher, 28 Windward <br /> Street, Mashpee, M . <br /> Ms . Fletcher thanked the Board, on behalf of the <br /> residents of Southport, for the time and diligence extended <br /> on their behalf regarding their concerns . <br /> She reported on the success and producti-vity of a <br /> meeting with Mr. Bonvie and approximately 130 Southport <br /> residents at an open forum meeting on March 1th. As a <br /> result, Southport residents do -not feel the need to present <br /> their concerns to the Planning Board as Applicant has <br /> agreed to address all of their issues . <br /> Dennis Bal arini asked Ms . Fletcher about resident <br /> concerns regarding the clearing of land. <br /> Ms . Fletcher responded there had been concern <br /> regarding the clear cutting of the property and the ensuing <br /> related problems, including landscaping issues . <br /> The Chairman recognized Mr. Bonvie who stated the <br /> following for the Record. He explained the decision to cut <br /> the trees was a major decision involving the engineers and <br /> architects after having had many discu-ssions . The two <br /> major issues and commitments addressed at the Advisory <br /> Board Meeting were: There will be no further cutting by a <br /> 5 <br />
