The Chairman noted that the first Planning Board Meeting in l falls on July t". She entertained a motion that this meeting be cancelled. MOTION: Dennis Bal zarini made a Motion to cancel the Wednesday, July 4, 2007Planning Board Meeting; which Motion was duly seconded by Myrna Nuey and so voted unanimously. Definitive Subdivision Dave Barry - 90 Pequot Drive Approval of Subdivision Road Design The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Mr. Dave Barry, who stated he is in attendance at the request of the Zoning Board of Appeals regarding the width of the driveway and parking space. References were made to a set of plans entitled, "Proposed Septic Design for Dave Barry, 90 Pequot Drive, Maspee, MA, by Sweetser Engineering, dated January 16, 2007" . The Town Planner clarified that the Zoning Bylaw requires that a lot front on a street prior to the issuance of a ,wilding permit. A street is defined a-s either a Town road, a read previously approved by the Planning Board under subdivision control, or a road which the Planning Board determines has suitable grades with construction and primary access to the property. After brief discussion the Board asked Mr. Rowley to male an inspection and report back at the next meeting. The Town Planner made reference to a letter from the Fire Chief dated March 14th stating that he has reviewed the plans for the proposed house, and noting the fire , hydrant is located within 1 -ft . of the property. The 'down Planner stated this is a subdivision- street and requires approval by the Planning Board including pavement, drainage, and parking. Also, the Town Clem and Fire Department have noted there is a duplication in the road name and have requested a name change to avoid any confusion for public safety reasons .
