The construction of any wind energy <br /> conversion facility or wind monitoring/meteorological tower <br /> may be permitted in all zoning districts, subject to <br /> issuance of a .special permit and provided the proposed use <br /> complies with Dimensional and Special Permit Regulations <br /> set forth below and in. Section 174 . 24 o ifi.cati n to <br /> Special Permits, unless waived by the SPCA. Any subsequent <br /> chance or modification of wind' energy equipment shall be <br /> subject to SPA granting of a modification to the original <br /> permit. <br /> Dimensional Requirements uirements - Type: Tilt-up towers, <br /> fixed--guyed towers, freestanding towers or other designs <br /> may be considered for approval by the SPCA. WECF towers may <br /> not be roof mounted or otherwise attached to buildings-. <br /> Addition of a Height Limit - "No WECF to exceed 100- <br /> ft. in height unless approved by the SPCA. <br /> Planning Board Member, John Halachis, left the Meeting <br /> at this point. <br /> (The Chairman declared a five-minute recess . However, <br /> zoning standard would have to be met and enforced by the <br /> Building Inspector. <br /> General - Demonstrated Utili=t - The word <br /> „manufacturer" has been -changed to read "wind power <br /> consultant" . <br /> Maintenance Plan-Appearance and Operation - This <br /> entire section has been included as a result of comments <br /> and concerns raised by the Consulting Engineer. <br /> The Assistant Town Planner suggested that both <br /> appearance and maintenance plans be included in the <br /> section. <br /> 7 <br />
