Mr, Sullivan stated that from an architectural <br /> standpoint, the proposal is to mimic the archi.tectu_r�al <br /> Lines in ]peeping with the original desYign. An attempt will <br /> be rude. to provide a little character to the: former- <br /> restaurant building by including dormer windows and a <br /> cupola. Tavares Landscape Design has prepared- a landscape <br /> .plan that is in compliance with the Town regulations for <br /> landscape design. Mr. Rowley has been consulted regarding <br /> drainage design and bioretention, planting for retention <br /> basis, as well as for permitted trees . Overflow parking <br /> areas have also been- ta-ken into consideration with regard <br /> to landscaping and improvements to the parting lot. <br /> The proposal will include maintaining the cure cut on <br /> Route 130, and eliminating the curb out on Ashumet Road. <br /> The parking has been calculated for retail, one space per <br /> 1 -sq. feet; and office space of one space per 0-sq. <br /> feet. There are three ) extra spaces factored into the <br /> plans in order to provide the ability to interconnect the <br /> two parking lots in the future. <br /> The Town Planner suggested that the property owner <br /> review the proposal with the DPW Director reIgardi.ng <br /> landscaping issues that appear to be located within the <br /> Town road layout. There is a possibility that DPW would <br /> require the right of way to be cleared, as- required in the <br /> -subdivision regulations. <br /> There was some discussion regarding the. buffer, <br /> parting lines and drainage design issues, as: well as the <br /> location and re-location of the proposed new buildings and <br /> the preservation of the character of the area. <br /> (Dennis Balzarin%i,, Myrna I uey, and Thomas ' Hara <br /> appeared to be in favor of the proposed tear down and <br /> relocation of buildings.. <br /> Mr. Rowley suggested that the engineer conduct a <br /> drainage evaluation on the to -year event in order to <br /> determine the off site impacts . <br /> M .
