The Committee has completed its work, with the assistance of the Planning <br /> Department and the Public Archaeology Lab, a historic district consultant, and <br /> recommends the creation of a Local Historic District generally described as located along <br /> Main Street (Route 13 o) between the former Ma Glockner's 1 estaurantlV FW property <br /> and Cotuit,load and along great Ne' ck load Forth between Meetinghouse Road and <br /> Main Street. This article amends Chapter 3 of the Town's GeneralBy-laws to create a <br /> Historic District Commission to oversee the district and adds a new Chapter 11.0 <br /> establishing its boundaries and specifying regulations for Commission review of <br /> development within the district. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Bal arini made a Motion to endorse Article# 1, Historic <br /> District Commission; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara and so voted <br /> unanimously. <br /> Article # 2- wind Bylaw Explanation: The Town currently has no specific <br /> zoning regulations permitting, prohibiting or regulating wind power facilities.
