!' e <br /> Notice of Workforce Housing Seminar, in Chatham, April <br /> i o th. <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Duck Pond Limited Partnership - Stuart Bornstein <br /> 10.6 Falmouth Road -- Approval of Special Permit <br /> The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman read <br /> the hearing notice into the record and called the Public <br /> Hearing to order. <br /> She recognized Attorney Ed Taipal.e, representing the <br /> Applicant . <br /> Attorney Taipale stated Applicant ha-s met with both <br /> the Design Review Committee and Plan Review committee, <br /> resulting in changes to the plan. He provided a sketch <br /> showing the most recent revisions to the site plan, <br /> Attorney Taipale informed the Boardthat the emergency <br /> access exiting on Simons Neck Road has been eliminated. A <br /> separate entrance onto the -site has been provided. <br /> He made reference to the building locations stating <br /> said area would be fenced off from the rest of the site for <br /> security purposes . There are to be two entrances into the <br /> fenced area, one of therm is to serge as the emergency <br /> access. The Route 28 entrance has been eliminated and <br /> relocated on Simons -Road (in line with the entrance t <br /> Shellbac Place) . Traffic islands have been incorporated <br /> into the parking area as suggested by the Town Planner) . <br /> Some of the parking: area along Simons Road has been <br /> eliminated in order to increase the buffer area. <br /> The Chairman recognized Dare ojala, Down cape <br /> Engineering, who explained the proposed truck route. He <br /> stated the current distance between buildings is sixty- <br /> e i-gh t feet . <br /> Applicant is proposing an approximate thirty—foot <br /> buffer, ten-foot natural or relandscaped, with the intent <br /> to preserve as much of the natural growth as possible. The <br /> two drainage areas have been connected in order to create <br /> one unified drainage. The construction will -be completed <br /> in two phases. <br /> 3 <br />
