There was brief discussion regarding t-he removal of <br /> trees and revegetation of the proposed open space site. <br /> The Chairman mentioned concerns regarding the <br /> wastewater treatment reports, noting that Stratford Ponds <br /> Condominiums has on occasion registered above the state <br /> required to ppm, as well as exceeding the Mashpee Special <br /> Permit 5 ppm. <br /> . Donahoe stated he could not speak to the <br /> operations of the plant, that the Board would have t.0 speak <br /> to the- existing operator. <br /> The Chairman suggested that the request being made to <br /> relocate the leaching fields is a major modification to the <br /> Special Permit, and would require a Public Hearing. She <br /> also suggested the plant operator appear- in person before <br /> the Board. <br /> It was agreed that the plant -operator would address <br /> the Planning Board at the July 5, 2006 Meeting. <br /> Other Items <br /> Southport "gees <br /> The. -Chairman recognized Ron Bonvie who deferred to Jiro <br /> McCormick, Landscape Chairman at Southport . <br /> (Associate Member Harvey Cohen, Southport resident, <br /> removed himself from the table and dial not participate in <br /> any of the discussion in this matter. ) <br /> Mr. McCormick stated Applicant is interested ,in saving <br /> as many trees as possible consistent with the safety and <br /> we-11being of the residents. He suggested any tree removal <br /> should be cone so by a professional arborist with periodic <br /> assessments . <br /> Mr. Bonvie introduced Brian Casey, professional <br /> arborist . <br /> Review was made to a document entitled, "Southport <br /> Tree Decis.ion Process, Revision of -6 Town Planner <br /> Draft by Developer & Landscape Committee 11 o6" . <br /> 1 <br />
