I + <br /> There 'is a number of 4 B Developments s in this area <br /> such as the Canal side project at the Bourne Bridge. <br /> Iashpee has some 40B projects within the high noise <br /> contours. <br /> Wireless facilities pose a serious problem t <br /> helicopters . <br /> The lighting of structures 6-0-ft . high within the <br /> search a-nd rescue corridor was recommended by the Cape Cod <br /> Commission consultant and may be more than what is <br /> reasonably needed. <br /> .The consultant also recommended FAA determination of <br /> anything over 2 -ft . high, which has proven to be <br /> controversial . <br /> General Recommendations for Land Use Restrictions. and <br /> possible Military Acquisition - In-volve- updating iashpee, <br /> regulations based upon current technical data. <br /> The Cape Cod Co mission has written to the state <br /> Housing Agency approving 4 B projects, but disco raging <br /> high-density development in an area where there is accident <br /> potential due to aircraft. This is considered to be a <br /> basic public safety issue . <br /> The Air Force Buffer Program is in the making. <br /> Investigation o-f the water supply at the Base, <br /> possible development of additional water supplies, and <br /> expansion of the capacity of the wastewater treatment plant <br /> at the Base in order to offset nitrogen. <br /> New uses at the Military Base or new uses- anywhere on <br /> Cape- Cod in order to avoid peak traffic. <br /> Review of Planning Board agendas for comment and <br /> possible appearance when necessary in connection with a.n.y <br /> projects being proposed near the Base. Where has been <br /> communication and cooperation with the Town Planners and <br /> developers of a proposed project in an attempt to remedy <br /> potential issues of concern. <br /> An attempt is being rude to improve the fencing <br /> materials- on the Base as this is also considered to be <br /> public safety- issues . <br /> i <br />
