■ <br /> The Town Planner explained that Meadowbrook Road is a <br /> subdivision. street that wa-s approved by the Planning Board <br /> in the mid-198 ' s . He made reference to the approved plan <br /> dated 1985, cluster subdivision, located off I onomosco <br /> Road. <br /> The Board of selectmen has requested a recommendation <br /> from the Planning Board, as required under state law for a <br /> Town taking of the road. <br /> There was brief discussion regarding the drainage and <br /> walkway ea-s ments. Mr. Rowley suggested -sa-id easements, <br /> along with the layout, be defined in the: legal document for <br /> taking approved by Town Meetin- g. <br /> Where being no further discuss-ion the chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION John Halachis rude a motion �-o a-ccept the <br /> roadway layout for Meadowbrook Road, provided the taking of <br /> drainage easements are included in the legal description <br /> and the Town Warrant; which Motion was duly seconded b <br /> Dennis Bal arini and so voted unan-imously. <br /> Correspondence <br /> The Town Planner made reference to a response from the <br /> Department of Public- Works regarding r. Rowley" s report, <br /> dated September 5, 2006, to the attention of the Board of <br /> Selectmen, Town Man-ager, and Mashpee Planning Boa,rd, <br /> regarding the - tormwater Report dated August 1, 2006. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Ed Baker - stormdrains/ torm rater4 <br /> Ed Baker, Captain' s Row, Mashpee - Expressed concern <br /> regarding the nutrient problem with surface water. <br /> He provided pictures showing examples of some of his <br /> concerns causing runoff to be directed into the streets and <br /> eventually into stormdrains . <br /> He suggested a requirement be- placed upon homeowners <br /> who make modifications to their property to eliminate the <br /> storrater on their lots, rater than constructing <br /> impervious surface conditions./nitrogen that flow into the <br /> street . <br /> 15 <br />
