Filed ,January 16, 2002 <br /> Dave Slnicli presented plans and said he submitted everything. He shored on plans <br /> where he made changes that Charlie had granted. Torn Fudala passed around copies of <br /> Charlie's letter and read through the list of seven recommendations. Dave requested <br /> that the Board approve plans subject-to Charlie's letter. Torn said he had a big question <br /> on road layout and placement the storm water facility. Dave explained his reason-s <br /> for why he placed it there. Torn was insistent that it should be moved. <br /> Motion.by Dennis to continue this public hearing until : o p.m. when Charlie arrives. <br /> Seconded by Steve, unanimous. <br /> Applicant: S.V. Raleigh Corp/Flagship self Storage <br /> Location: Fite. 130, Assessors Map 27, Blocks 123-130, 133,134 and Map 28 Block 12 <br /> Request: Approval of special Permit filed Aug. 16, 2001. continued from Jan. 16, 2002 <br /> Attorney, Liza Cox presented a follow-up to the last meeting. she said they appeared <br /> before the ZBA on January 2 rd and were granted a variance for parking with conditions <br /> they have no problem complying with. Steve Raleigh went through a list of things that <br /> the Planning Board had requested, including sign (color, dimension, size); engineered <br /> lighting plan, landscape maintenance. He distributed copies of hazardous waste and <br /> fluorescent bulb disposal, maintenance.plan for storm water drainage and monitoring <br /> plan and draft.of-system plan. <br /> 2 <br /> Fire Department access was another issue. He said that George Baer and himself-tool <br /> a truck to the site and created an effective simulated turning radius. This was reported <br /> to Charlie. Dan Ojala explained the results of turning' radius and-the relocated tasir"s <br /> and spaces. He passed out plans illustrating this. He gave further explanation of hover <br /> the underground pipes would be adequate to support fire trucks. <br /> Dennis had a question about the size of the sign and whether or not it had gone to <br /> Design Review. Steve Raleigh said they hadn't gotten to that pointfyet, but they,would <br /> have no problem modifying the sign if necessary. Torn Fudala distributed copies of <br /> Charlie's letter which mentioned ten points. Tom said that the appeal period for variance <br /> harsr }t expired and that Anchor had indicated they would appeal. Tom further said that <br /> he didn't think Charlie had seen these new site plans. Torn gave copies of.all letters <br /> received from other sources regarding items of concern to Liza and to the Board. Dan <br /> jala said that he would be glad to sit down with Charlie to discuss these issues. Torn <br />
