February 6, 2002 <br /> Pave <br /> Dennis asked for clarification regarding the 67 houses they were giving up. Jack said <br /> that there is still an.approved sub-division where homes could be built. Dennis asked for <br /> an explanation as to why building a golf course is better than building homes. Jack <br /> explained how the construction of a golf course.as to property value of existing homes. <br /> Dennis posed-a question about affordable horsing. Jack said they had a few buildings <br /> that they currently own and are donating one home to the ll ashpee Housing.Authority. <br /> Tone Fudala wanted to know who would pay to move this house. Jack said they willco- <br /> ordinate efforts, but have not offered to pay for it. Tam stated the zoning by-lair <br /> modification of existing-special permit. He wanted Jack to define exactly what he was <br /> doing. Jack said he would defer to Torn on this and added that the new golf by-lava <br /> provisions comply with both new and old zoning. <br /> Torn suggested that a portion of this be modified; as in splitting II illowbend into two <br /> parts; both areas being in compliance. He said that the existing plan has no legend. <br /> Brune Besse,said that he would g t the legend sheet. Torn continued with his <br /> explanation of what needs to be done, i.e., the binding of open space, site-description <br /> needed, as well as the,actual recorded, surveyed plan. He had a further question about <br /> the.buffer/p rope rty rims that he did not feel were clearly defined. He said that-the <br /> property limits seen to run into the marsh. Bruce explained her they do not own the <br /> open space yet because of the land swap that will occur. He explained about the <br /> delineation line and said that they could sit down and discuss this. Torn noted that it <br /> seemed they were destroying part of the road with grade changes and he wants this <br /> addressed. Lengthy discussion ensued regarding the buffer zone and the by-la <br /> requirement. <br /> John Bresnahan distributed copies of the golf course management plan for Board <br /> review. <br /> Motion by Dennis to continue this public.hearing to February 2Oth at : g-P.m. <br /> Seconded by Steve; unanimous. <br /> (continued from earlier in meeting) <br /> ng <br /> Applicant: John Sweeney <br /> Location. Dick wondered if we could deal with this down the road. Torn insisted that this <br /> creates potentially more work for the abutter if he wanted to extend the road and held <br />
