Historic Places. May affect districts, sites, buildings, structures, or objects, significant in
American history, architecture, engineering or culture that are listed in the National Registry
Historic Places.
Correspondence from the Massachusetts Historical Commission (MI-IC) dated June 18, 2002,
indicated that after review of the files and the materialssubmitted, it has been determined that this
project is unlikely to affect significant historic or archaeological resources.
Indian Religious Sites
Correspondence to the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head dated April 24, 2002 has remained
unanswered, therefore, in the absence of a response, ATC concludes that the proposed project is
unlikely to affect significant cultural or religious areas.
Located in a Flood Plain (Executive Order 11988)
According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Insurance Rate Map
number 25000090001-0005, for the Town of Mashpee, dated September 15, 1978, the site is not
located within a 100-year or 500-year floodplain.
Wetlands. Cause significant change in surface features such as Wetland fdl, deforestation or
water diversions(See Executive Order 11990 if wetlands are on Federal property)
ATC reviewed the USGS Topographic Map of the Cotuit Quadrangle dated 1974. This map
indicated that the site is not located within a designated wetland area.
High Intensity White Lights
High intensity white lights will not be required by the FAA.
Radio Frequency Radiation
Radio Frequency Radiation information will be supplied by the wireless applicant.
CONCLUSIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the review of readily available published lists, files, and maps regarding FCC issues,
the proposed tower site located 100 Echo Road in Mashpee, Massachusetts does not appear to
have been affected by the following FCC Special Interest items:
• Wilderness Areas and Wildlife Preserves
• Listed Threatened or Endangered Species or Designated Critical Habitat
• Proposed Threatened or Endangered Species or Proposed Critical Habitat
• Historic Places
• Indian Religious Sites
• Flood Plains
• Wetlands
• High Intensity White Lights
\\ATCOI\SYS\USERS\TELECOM\seacoast Innited partnershipWashpeeVOYA Report\nepaltr.doc
