The Board decided to require an additional fee of $30 - 00 for <br /> advertising costs. Remove reference from page 19 . ) <br /> Page -2 1- The Fire Chief has requested a minimum of 2 0-foot <br /> wide pavement in alleys in order to accommodate fire department <br /> apparatus. " <br /> Page -2 - Additional standard detail drawings for Parking <br /> Facilities - Mr. Rowley to provide a detail disc to the Planning <br /> Department. <br /> There being no further Board discussion, the Chairman <br /> entertained a motion. <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to continue the <br /> Public Hearing in this matter to August 21, 2002, at 7 : o p.m. ; <br /> which Motion was seconded by Don Myers and so voted unanimously. <br /> Discussion <br /> The Chairman opened the floor to discussion regarding the <br /> recent Board of Selectmen Meeting. <br /> Dennis Balzarini expressed his confusion as to why Planning <br /> Board Members had been invited to attend the Monday night Meeting <br /> f the Board of Selectmen. A Motion was made and seconded to <br /> postpone Zoning Articles for review) submitted by the Planning <br /> Board before anyone was given the opportunity to speak. Mr. <br /> Govoni, representing the Zoning Board of Appeals stated two <br /> issues of concern, church/synagogue numbers; and Planning Board <br /> control of 10, o o square feet. <br /> Haring realized this meeting was scheduled during Ms. <br /> Kane' s vacation, she reported a conversation with Joyce Mason, <br /> Town Administrator, whereby she inquired as to the purpose of <br /> Planning Board attendance/discussion of Articles being placed <br /> on the Warrant.. She explained her position understanding that <br /> the Board of Selectmen do not have any jurisdiction over Planning <br /> Board Articles voted and presented for inclusion on any Town <br /> Warrant. <br /> M . Mason was of the opinion this clarification should be <br /> made by Town Counsel. <br /> The Chairman them asked Planning Board/Staff whether or not <br /> written decision is on file. <br /> The Town Planner responded there is nothing in writing; that <br /> the Town Administrator had in fact put the question to Town <br /> Counsel . He asked Don Sch it, State Zoning, who verified the <br /> Board of Selectmen do possess the authority to reject proposed <br /> Pla=irg Board Articles submitted for inclusion on a Warrant, <br />
