No permit rimy be <br /> approved for a project unless the Board determines that the proposed system of storm water <br /> management and artificial recharge will achieve the.purposes described above. <br /> D. Wastewater Fadfiti s. <br /> Private Sewage Treatment Facilities designed to generate effluent.with an annual average total <br /> nitrogen concentration of 5 mg l or less, and not to exceed 10 m I at any time, shall be <br /> constructed for any project for which a special permit is approved by the Board which is <br /> expected to generate more than 5,000 g.p.d. of wastewater based on the Mass. State <br /> Environmental code, Tide 5, unless prohibited by the Mass, Department of Environmental <br /> Protection, the Mashpee Board of Health or the Ilashpee.Zoning By-law. <br /> For projects generating less than 5,,000 g.p.d., except cluster subdivisions, an Alternative <br /> System of on-site wastewater disposal approved by the Ilan. Department of Environmental <br /> Protection shall be provided which has been demonstrated to generate effluent with an annual <br /> average total nitrogen concentration of 19 rngl or less. <br />
