References were then rude to a diagram of the drive-thru <br />area, confining all queuing to within the parking area relieving <br />the street systems of traffic impacts two rows of fire, ten <br />cars). Some concern was raised by Board Members regarding <br />parking issues (backing up and walking into the building). <br />Mr. Chilinski addressed the issue of signage, 9 f t. tall <br />ft . wide, allowing for several key tenants to be listed. The <br />Board clarified neon/internally lit signage is not allowed within <br />the Town. <br />Mr. Rowley inquired as to safety conditions regarding <br />pedestrian/traffic crossing at the Mall area. Mr. Chilinski <br />responded a proposed raised area is to be located at the level of <br />the walkway, incorporating (visual) safety features for <br />pedestrian crossing, and disturbed pavement indicating the cross <br />walk areas. (Mr. Chilinski i agreed to provide further dimensional <br />information to the Board.) <br />r. Chilinski stated this area will also provide a capacity <br />to ac onunodate emergency public safety vehicles whether or not <br />this is required by the Town/ Fire Department). <br />At this point Mr. Megathlin addressed mitigation issues, <br />suggesting the remainder of issues in this matter t e continued <br />to another Meeting {Leasing, Regulatory, and Adjoining <br />Properties). <br />Donna's Lane - A condition of Applicant's Lease requires a <br />traffic signal be installed prior to Roche Brothers opening (the <br />anticipated date being June, 2003). Equipment for said <br />installation has recently gone out to bid; construction bids to <br />go out in January, 2 0 ; plans being 7completed. <br />The Town Planner clarified the signal project is being <br />pursued by Maspee Commons who have funds available in escrow <br />with the Cape Cod Commission, and who anticipate receiving credit <br />for the project for their future mitigation efforts of the <br />lashpee Coons project. <br />Route 28 widening - Anticipated construction beginning in <br />the spring of 2003, through Memorial Day to resume and be <br />completed in the late fall of 2003. <br />hellbacl Way - No progress has been made in this regard. <br />Mashpee Professional Center - Will not go through as <br />discussed Mr. Lynch has charged his mind) . <br />Connector Road - Applicant is in control of this process, <br />by agreement of all property owners, a plan for which has been <br />submitted to the Town Administrator for approval. References <br />were made to surrounding and Town owned properties. <br />-20- <br />
