i <br /> r <br /> Dennis asked about buses pang and leaving the engines on. He had a concern about smoke <br /> fumes and inquired about a special place for buses to park. Don said that this was something <br /> they had considered* but that it was not specifically noted in site plans. Dennis said than he <br /> would like to see this in the site plans. Don said that this was an operations/management issue <br /> and they will ,rake a note of it. <br /> Dennis also inquired about their intentions regarding the employment of local contractors. Mr. <br /> Talanian said that they would encourage this. Don said they had come up against criticism <br /> regarding retail workers' pay. They expressed an interest in setting up training programs. Steve <br /> Dolan asked if this was a policy that was written "in black and white.9 Don said it wasn"t, but they <br /> would certainty utilize local contractors and would offer valid explanations if they opted not to. <br /> Dennis had a question regarding open space. He noted that the proposed area is completely <br /> stripped of vegetation and inquired as to what can they do to keep it from looking like a desert. <br /> Don said they have spent $500,000 on re-vegetation proposal using 500 different kinds of <br /> plants. They said that an irrigation system is very costly. He.pointed out the area of grass on <br /> landscaping ,trap. <br /> "Torn Fudala noted that they had not provided a proper grater quality report. He said several <br /> things Were missing, including a map of the test well location and phosphorus calculations. Don <br /> thought that the engineer had already provided this and said that he will check into it. Dennis <br /> had a further question on the septic system. Don pointed it out n the map. Torn.Fudala said he <br /> needs time to unroll the plans for a complete review. Additionally, he said, Charlie will also need <br /> to review the plans. <br /> Motion made b Dennis to continue discussion until the meeting of March .at p.m. <br /> Seconded by Beverly; carried unanimously. <br /> csc Group Nominee Trust; DOnifive Plant pe lal Permit <br /> Submission of subdivision plan/special permit application and check. <br /> Motion made by Beverly to schedule public hearing of definitive plan and special permit on <br /> March 21 at 7 p.rn. The Board <br /> acknowledged receipt and scheduled discussion for March at : o p.m. <br /> ,oval of Minutes <br /> Mo ion made by Beverly to accept Minutes of February 3rdwith the following corrections; Page <br /> 1 changes are as-follows: seventh paragraph should read, "...the building inspector had been <br /> out and said the buildings looked OK Eighth paragraph, third sentence should be corrected to <br /> read, "...there was not going to weathervanes for the garages, only cupolas." Page 2 correction <br /> on the last paragraph, second to last sentence should read, "...that would be 60 omits:' <br /> Seconded by Dennis' carried unanimously, <br /> 5 <br />
