Proposal <br /> This decision concerns the application of by Stephen Giatrellis, 106 Cape Drive, Mashpee, Mass., <br /> for approval of a 0.99 acre outdoor storage area on 48 acres located at 588 Main Street (Route <br /> 130), with access from 81 Echo Road in Mashpee, Massachusetts (the "Propert/l. The property is <br /> identified on the Mashpee Assessors Maps as Map 19, Block 10, with access over Block 3 from Echo <br /> Road and is owned by ABKJJT, LLC, 175 Chester Street, N. Falmouth, MA 02556. The Project is <br /> shown on a plan entitled "Proposed Storage Area Located in Mashpee, Mass. Prepared for Steve <br /> Giatrelis"prepared by Cape& Islands Engineering, 800 Falmouth Road — Suite 301C, Mashpee, MA <br /> 02649, scale 1"=100', dated November 19, 2001 and a second plan sheet, showing only the portion <br /> of the site to be utilized for storage, entitled "Proposed Storage Area Located in Mashpee, Mass. <br /> Prepared for Steve Giatrelis" prepared by Cape & Islands Engineering, 800 Falmouth Road —Suite <br /> 301C, Mashpee, MA 02649, scale 1"=40', dated November 19, 2001. <br /> II. Jurisdiction <br /> 'The application was made and this decision is i$ued by the Mashpee Planning Board pursuant to <br /> Sections 174-24.C. and 174-25.G.(9) of the Mashpee Zoning By-Laws as they existed on January <br /> 2, 2002, the date on which this special permit decision was approved by the Mashpee Planning <br /> Board. Where reference is made herein to the Mashpee Zoning By-Law, it shall refer to the <br /> provisions thereof as they existed on said date. <br /> III. Chronology <br /> A hearing was held before the Mashpee Planning Board at the Mashpee Town Hall, 16 Great Neck <br /> Road North, Mashpee, Massachusetts on December 5, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Notice was duly given to <br /> abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 40A. Notice was given by <br /> publication in the Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the town of Mashpee <br /> on November 16 and 23, 2001. The hearing was continued on December 19, 2001 and January 2, <br /> January 16, February 6 and February 20, 2002. <br /> On February 20, 2002, the Planning Board dosed the public hearing and voted to make the following <br /> findings and grant a special permit authorizing the project, with the conditions enumerated below. <br /> The members of the Planning Board were recorded as follows: Dennis H. Balzarini, Beverly A. Kane, <br /> and Steven Dolan and Associate Member Don Myers were recorded as voting in favor of approval. <br /> No members were recorded as voting against. <br /> -1- <br />
