He said that Gregg Taylor has money available but needs OK <br /> from the Board of Selectman. Torn passed around a draft letter saying that we support <br /> this and that the Board of SelectMan should appr e. There.was Planning Board <br /> consensus. <br /> Board of Appeals under subdivision control Laver <br /> Torn Fudala asked if the Planning Board could change something in the statute <br /> regarding voting on appeals of Planning Board issues. He said that.such a committee <br /> had been created for one issue awhile back and that it hadn't met since that time. <br /> He.suggested a name for this com itt e; Planning Board Sub-division Committee. <br /> Board Comments n. New Sealbury Project <br /> Dick Terry opened discussion by saying than he spoke to'Martha Trornbley of the Cape <br /> Cod eommissi n who said that.an additional report was due that may change the <br /> substance of what's going on with Mashpee conservation. Martha suggested to Dick <br /> that she would meet with the Planning Board re: taking jurisdiction and what role the <br /> Planning Board should take in this. Dick said that negotiations seem to be fluid, i.e., <br /> moving units, etc., but that no final proposal was in yet. <br /> Beverly expressed concerns regarding the Water'District and the Conservation <br /> Commission and said we need to give support. Another concern brought up by Dennis <br /> regarded the Fire Department sub-station. Torn asked if we shouldn't be looking at the <br /> Plans at some point a nd have Martha come ire and speak to-the.Planning Board. <br /> Martine said someone from New Seabu'ry should be present also. Dick said that he will <br /> invite Martha and ask her to contact New Seabury. Dennis said that we should contact <br /> them ourselves by letter and schedule the meeting for July 1 th. <br /> Motion by Dennis to invite !!Martha Trombley to the meeting on July 1 th.- seconded by <br /> Beverly; unanimous. <br /> Regional Pollipy Plan <br /> Torn Fudala explained to the Board that our regional policy plan is due- very fire years: <br /> with re-certification in 2003. In reading it, Beverly said-that if you're developing growth <br /> centers they will not relax their rules and regulations. Torn said that this makes sense <br />
