ThornasO'Hara.suggested there be sufficient <br /> handicap spaces in front Of Roche Bros. for convenience, and the Town Planner <br /> suggested a contact with a--representative from A A Committee in this regard. Also, <br /> handicap access at the northwest side ofSouth Street crosswalk was acknowledged. <br /> Drainage-issues will be shown,in detail on a final plan, to be submitted to the <br /> Planning Board at a later date for-approval. Curbing issues will also be addressed with <br /> the addition of curb ramps when the brick all a is removed. Concerns were raised <br /> about removing some of the speed deterrents that are currently bui It into the,roadway and <br /> a means of replacing speed tables at Commercial and South Streets for safety purposes-. <br /> Fire Department issues and concerns were also addressed, with the Planning <br /> Board insisting that the Deputy Fire Chief be completely satisfied regarding emergency <br /> access. <br /> (This matter concluded at this point, 9:25 p.m. <br /> Performance Guarantee <br /> Gene Smith—55 Pequot Avenue--Definitive Subdivision Modification <br /> The Chairman called this matter to order and recognized Patricia Voyles Smith, <br /> owner of the property, who explained that she is attempting to obtain a building permit. <br /> She submitted a surety bond issued by western Surety, duly signed and notarized. <br /> The Town Planner reported that Town Counsel has suggested that Planning Board <br /> Members also sign and notarize the document. Town Counsel is also requesting are <br /> original fully executed Power of Attorney from the Surety Company, which has not yet <br /> been obtained a copy of the document has been subnmitted . <br /> MOTION: Dennis Balzarini made a Motion to accept the forin of eeurit <br /> submitted by the Applicant, subject to receipt of an original Power of Attorney document <br /> signed by a representative.ofWestern Surety authorizing signature of the local insurance <br /> agent; which Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara and so voted unaniunousdy. <br /> Having ascertained the signatures to be the free act and deed of the Planri*mg <br /> Board the Board Secretary notarized "Form -Performance Secured by a Surety <br /> Company-Patricia Smith, western Surety Company".
