The Town Planner explained that the <br /> Board had approved a Modification of the Special Permit two gears ag to allow the <br /> relocation of wastewater discharge area. one of the Conditions was that'it would lapse <br /> unless construction was-started within two-years. Applicant has not been able to begin <br /> construction due to issues related to DEP permitting, as well as concerns raised by the <br /> Consulting Engineer. <br /> Applicant's.attorney is requesting a six-month extension from the approval date <br /> of November 1 , 2006 of the Special Permit decision. <br /> MOTION: Dennis al arini:.made a Motion to grant a six-month extension to the <br /> Special Permit Decision in this matter, originally approved on November 15, 2006. The <br /> construction date being extended to May 15, 2009. Said Motion was duly seconded by <br /> James Leonard and so voted unanirnously. <br /> Discussion Items <br /> Stormwater Information Booklet <br /> The.Chairman informed the Board that the Environmental Oversight Committee <br /> has been made aware of a publication by the Town of Orleans, entitled "The Orleans <br /> Blue pages-A Guide to Protecting Cape Cod waters". The Committee is now being <br /> proposed that the Town of Mashpee will obtain funding Textron Mitigation Funds) to <br /> adapt this publication to Mashpee needs, which is the intent and purpose of the Orleans <br /> publication, to be used as a template for other towns. (Two copies were made available, <br /> also information can be obtained on-lie.) <br /> 11 <br />
