Invitation from Mass. National Guard for Municipal Board and Staff Tour of <br />Ml rlR. James Leonard, Dennis l al a.rini, and Thomas "Hara" volunteered to attend and <br />suggested Friday, October 10, 2008 at 12:00 noon. <br />Public Hearing <br />Gene Smith-55 Peuot Avenue <br />Approval of Definitive subdivision Modification for Toad Design of Peq of Avenue <br />The appointed hour having arrived the Chairman read the Public Hearing notice <br />into the record and called this matter to order. She recogni -zed Mr. Dave Barry, who <br />reported that Applicant has. appeared before the Zoning Board -of Appeals who ha <br />approved a 63,500 sq. ft. landscape variance. <br />He also. reported that Costa & Associates has been working with Mr. Rowley in <br />this matter. <br />Deference was made -to Mr. Rowle 's comment letters dated September 23, 2008, <br />and October 1, 200, <br />Mr. Rowley ley reported he has n major issues with the plan. <br />Mr. Barry presented a plan entitled "Plan of Land 55 Pequot Avenue in Mashpee, <br />NIA dated o f o , prepared by Chdstopher Costa & Associates, Inc, for Gene Smith, <br />11 Harbor View Road, East, Falmouth, NIA'. <br />The Town Planner suggested a road covenant be issued for security of proposed <br />construction ofth road. <br />Having deterrrfned there was no public comment in this matter the Chain-nan <br />entertained a motion to close the Public Hearing. <br />MOTION: tennis l al arini crude a Motion to close the Public. Hearing in -this <br />natter; said Motion was duly seconded by Thomas O'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br />MOTION: Dennis > al arini made a Motion to approve the Definitive <br />Subdivision Modification for Road Design of Pequot Avenue, subject to the staking of lot <br />lines. on the 5 -t. strip of area adjacent to the driveway turn around (approximately o-ft., <br />as well as a cash security bond for the road layout; which lotion was duly seconded by <br />ThomasO'Hara and so voted unanimously. <br />The Town Planner noted that Applicant oyes the Town $115.00 in application <br />fees. <br />Public Hearing <br />Attorney Mark Gildea for Clapp & Keelan Families <br />Approval of Definitive Subdivision Modification ion for Road Design of l eelan way <br />
