He suggested urban agri culture/community
gardens/rooftop garden opportunities be considered for this project.
There was brief discussion regarding public transportation possibilities on Cape
Cod in order to address the sustainable development smart growth. Mr. Storrs stated that
he would be happy to participate in a dependable and'continuous public transit system
across the Cape as in time and as warranted.
The Town Planner noted that them are no pathways throughout the existing or
proposed project to accommodate bicycles. Mr. Storrs responded thatsome-of the
regulations are unrealistic, such as providing showers in every building. He did agree
that the project could make improvements in order to be more bike friendly, such as
providing additional bike racks.
The Town Planner suggested more attention be paid to providing actual bike paths
throughout the project where people would feel safe and comfortable riding. He also
asked that the developer reconsider the existing path route.-located on Jobs Fishing Road,
as it,crosses the road at two locations.
