Noting the growth potential of the Town <br /> he commented the infrastructure should be sufficient. He also <br /> stated the new connector roads have merit in order to alleviate <br /> some of the existing traffic. In the event connector roads are <br /> implemented, zoning controls would be required. He also <br /> suggeSted, the use of such roads be constructed for the use of <br /> local residents, rather than a diversion of traffic from Falmouth <br /> to Barnstable. x,t <br /> The Town Planner asked about access management, informing <br /> Mr. Tilton there is currently a 600 foot frontage requirement for <br /> Routes 28 and 151 in an attempt to lower the number of driveways. k. <br /> Mr. Tilton agreed this is a good policy and stated it exceeds the 4b <br /> recommended distance between driveways. He also suggested <br /> consolidating driveways of commercial developers. <br /> i• <br /> Ms• Fenn clarified this section of the Plan has changedf„ <br /> drastically in comparison to the 1991--1996 Plan.
