Mr. Fudala noted there are three mentions of ' ' <br /> Job' s Fishing <br /> Road Extension within the Transportation Element (He read aloud <br /> those pertinent references within the E1 ement) : Page 7-19 is a <br /> mention, not a recommendation g Y i <br /> of the road with regard to deeding � = <br /> alternate routes to Great Neck Road North; Action Plan, 10- � <br /> 3 Recommendation of the Five Year page <br /> Plan. regarding the first <br /> phase of the extension, between Route 151 and the Police Station; <br /> Actual Recommendation to developthe - <br /> road,► page l 0 1 2 in the Year <br /> 2010 Plan regarding the second phase of the extension. <br /> 41:::, <br /> Mr. Fudala further stated reference to the proposed Job; s `ti: <br /> Fishing Road Extension is shown on a map, which reference will be <br /> deleted if so voted by the Board. f, <br /> MOTION: Dennis Ba.lzarini made a Motion to delete }` <br /> any and <br /> all references to the proposed Job' s Fishing Road Extension (from <br /> Boys C1 � i �The y Club to old Barnstable Road) as mentioned n the Local <br /> Comprehensive Plan; which Motion was seconded by chance Reichel. JP <br /> The Motion having been made and seconded., the Chairman <br /> addressed the Board and members of the public by acknowledging <br /> the striking public turnout. He acknowledged the fact that the <br /> residents did not want this road extension in their backyards and <br /> that it is a valid consideration. He stated that personally, he <br /> felt the proposed road extension was a good idea viewing the Town . <br /> as a whole. He feels the Town is in need of bypasses and. wanted ` <br /> to say this personally to the members of the public prior to the <br /> vote being taken. } <br /> The chairman acknowledged there was a Motion made and duly <br /> I <br /> seconded to delete all reference to a Job' s Fishing Road Bypass <br /> Extension from the Boys club to old Barnstable Road. <br /> Mr. Fudala requested permission to mention the fact that the <br /> proposal has been considered for many years, but based upon <br /> neighborhood concerns it has been disregarded. <br /> 1f4} <br /> The Chairman agreed this information should be added to the <br /> Motion for historic purposes. He acknowledged. the Motion on the <br /> table, and suggested a revision be made to delete the references <br /> to the Job s Fishing Road Bypass Extension and to include the <br /> references made by Mr. Fudala, without changing the vote. Motion <br /> made and. seconded, the Vote was as f o l l ows <br /> Voting in favor- Dennis Bal zarini; John Kuchinski; andE. a <br /> Chance Re i chel . opposed: Patrick Cof fey. <br /> The Chairman determined the Motion carried, the references „ <br /> are deleted, and there have been no objections made to the <br /> addition of historical references. This matter concluded at � <br /> 9:30 r, <br /> Public Hearing-Amendments to Mashpee Local comprehensive Plan <br /> -21- <br />
