The parcel does however fall within the <br /> National wildlife Refuge boundaries, which would receive the same t <br /> bonus as secondary open space. Mashpee Commons has requested a <br /> change to primary open space, which would allow a 1.4 multiplier. <br /> The amendment, if approved, would require a map change to <br /> indicate the property under discussion to primary open space. <br /> 14.4 or more OSID units would result in approximately thirty (30) ` <br /> bedrooms added to the project, <br /> Mashpee Commons 'ect, <br /> p <br /> ��eiK pir, <br /> The vice Chairman recognized John Ferguson. Mashpee Commons <br /> Advisory Committee Member, who stated he is in favor of this, <br /> amendment. <br /> Mr. Storrs stated he feels the zoning Articles have the <br /> greatest potential for success on Town Meeting floor if supported <br /> by the Town Planner, Selectmen, Planning Board and Mashpee , <br /> Commons Advisory Committee. <br /> Mr. Fudala clarified the Mashpee Commons Advisory Committee <br /> has not formally endorsed any of the amendments, however, they " a- <br /> have been discussed. He further stated he could go either way on ` <br /> this particular amendment, that his main interest is the <br /> protection of more open space. (Submitted by Board of <br /> Selectmen petition of landowner) <br /> 174--4 6D(6) -Relates to providing developed parks and f <br /> playgrounds within the commercially developed portion of thek,F <br /> project, mainly the Jobs Fishing Road area. Mashpee Commons I ¢ <br /> would like t construct co struct some parks in this area, particularly in , <br /> response to concerns expressed by residents of Deer Crossing, as <br /> well as receiving an incentive to do so. t i # <br /> 1 <br /> If at least a half acre parcel is set aside to be developed <br /> as a park area, this amendment would provide Mashpee Commons to � s <br /> receive one 2 .2 bedroom units per ten thousand (10, 000 s . f t. ) '�°' , <br /> square feet to add to their residential numbers.
