I <br /> the project since that time, { <br /> Mr. Megathlin indicated he wanted to speak about water ' <br /> resources issues and, solutions thereto. He informed the Board he r <br /> was prepared to review water resources maps, site plan, and <br /> elevations. <br /> Mr. Megathlin stated he has complied with all of the issues <br /> raised by the Board at the May Meetingwith the exception of one. <br /> p <br /> The name of the project has been submitted to both the <br /> Police and Fire chiefs, every other parking island is eight (8) <br /> feet wide, the percentages of open space is calculated to be over � <br /> thirty (3 0%) percent, the traffic plan has been reviewed, a copy <br /> of which has been submitted to the Town Planner. He informed the <br /> Board that Massachusetts Highway Department (MHD) has suggested <br /> further monitoring take place at Shellback way in order to � <br /> determine whether of not a signal is warranted. It is proposed <br /> to widen Route 28, as indicated in the Comprehensive Plan, <br /> subject to Planning Board input. Town Meeting has approved a <br /> waiver with reference to the set-back on Route 28 . He stated he <br /> would address the issue of the connector road. Grading Plans z; <br /> have been completed and are available for Planning Board review <br /> if so requested. <br /> i <br /> Mr. Megathlin indicated the traffic mitigation has been <br /> changed per Cape Cod Commission request. Mini-Golf Course Plans <br /> (small scale) are available for Planning Board review. f� <br /> The Town Planner stated a joint process comprised of cape <br /> Cod commission and Town Staff has been established <br /> in order to coordinate traffic and waste water issues with ' <br /> reference to the Talanian, Mashpee Commons, Boch center, and <br /> Canning properties. <br /> Mr. Megathlin stated he was relying upon the guidelines as <br /> set forth within the comprehensive Plan regarding Route 28, as <br /> well as working in conjunction with MHD and seeking guidance from '1 <br /> the Town. <br /> There was some discussion regarding traffic patterns and <br /> impacts. <br /> Mr. Megathlin raised the issue of parking ratios, which were <br /> proposed at 4 . 75, and which the Planning Board suggested be � ! <br /> reduced to 4 . 0 . Mr. Megathlin stated the ratios have not been <br /> reduced, they remain at 4. 75. He requested the opportunity to <br /> submit this proposal in writing to the Board for their review. <br /> However, this has not yet been prepared. <br /> References were now being made to the Site Plan, indicating <br /> parking areas.
