He mentioned some of the advantages to <br /> the Town such as providing opportunities for the Varsity Golf r <br /> Team, Senior Citizens, and a High School Golf Team. �� � • <br /> The Board being sympathetic to Mr. Giatrellis' situation, <br /> Chance Reichel suggested Mr. Giatrellis appear before the Board �. - <br /> again at such time as he has more specific information to present .�,� <br /> to the Board/Chairman, as well as to present his case as to the <br /> advantages to the citizens of Mashpee. (This matter concluded at <br /> 8:55 p.m. ) <br /> Correspondence <br /> ,.fill <br /> Mr. Kuchinski brought a letter from the Cape Cod Commission �•;•. <br /> to the Boards attention regarding Local Comprehensive Plans and <br /> Impact Fees. <br /> r <br /> The Town Planner stated he is aware that there is now a set �!! <br /> of rules under which impact fees can be imposed. He informed the <br /> Board that the Town is in the process of applying for a Municipal <br /> Incentive Grant, through the County, along with the Town of <br /> Barnstable which would enable the Town to hire consultants in •"' <br /> order to develop an impact fee system, legal, and fiscal analysis Js <br /> assistance, along with the development of a legally defensive "' ► <br /> mechanism process. +• <br /> Aq0 <br /> The Town Planner requested a letter of support from the <br /> Planning Board to the Cape Cod Commission. The Selectmen have <br /> already voted to support this grant application which is dueP <br /> June 1, 1998. <br /> MOT— TION• Chance Reichel made a Motion to support the Board <br /> Of Selectmen and the Town Planner regarding the application for a a <br /> Municipal Incentive Grant regarding Impact Fees; which Motion was <br /> seconded by James Dorgan and so voted unanimously.
