They are advised to warn builders of this responsibility. <br /> STEP 4: CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION <br /> Your house(s)may be inspected several times during construction by Office of the Neighborhood <br /> Architect staff to assure that your home(s) are being constructed in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications approved by the Office of the Neighborhood Architect. These inspections are <br /> solely for the benefit of the Neighborhood Architect and are separate from any inspections that <br /> Barnstable County or the Town of Mashpee may require. If construction defects affecting the <br /> safety or structural integrity of the house or failure to comply with governmental building codes <br /> are noted,the Neighborhood Architect inspector may require Correction by notifying the builder <br /> and owner, but the inspector is not liable for failure to note any such defects. <br /> The Office of the Neighborhood Architect will recommend to the developers of the Jobs and . <br /> Whitings Neighborhood that construction be stopped if the contractor is not building in <br /> accordance with approved plans. Under these Rules and the Comprehensive Permit, the <br /> developer,the Zoning Board of Appeals and the N4ashpee Building Inspector has full authority to <br /> order the cessation of any construction which is not in accordance with approved plans. <br /> STEP 10: MODIFICATIONS DURING CONSTRUCTION (IF APPLICABLE) <br /> During construction, you may deckle to improve or modify the original approved plans or <br /> specifications.A,iy change to the approved plans and specifications requires prior review and <br /> written approval of the Office of the Neighborhood Architect. A request for review of the <br /> proposed modifications must include a Minor.Change Application and applicable support data, <br /> including, but not limited to Drawings, site plan, and a"materials cut sheet"or sample as <br /> necessary to show the change. <br /> Minor changes may be approved in writing by the Office of the Neighborhood Architect and said <br /> changes may be executed upon receipt of the approved FORM E: Minor Change Application. <br /> More substantial changes shall require additional review and approval by the Office of the <br /> Neighborhood Architect in full compliance with all of the above-stated steps for submission of <br /> initial development applications. The Neighborhood Architect shall initially determine whether <br /> proposed changes are minor or substantial. <br /> Any requests for changes shall also be submitted to the Mashpee Building Inspector and Mashpee <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals who may make recommendations as to whether such changes are <br /> substantial. Changes that are both purely cosmetic and non-structural need not be submitted to <br /> the Building Inspector and Zoning Board of Appeals for their recommendations. <br /> STEP 11: FINAL INSPECTION <br /> The following is required for the final inspection: <br /> A.
