Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise,
a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on April 7, 2006 and April
14, 2006, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board
of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Frederick Borgeson,
James Reiffarth, Jonathan Furbush and Marshall Brem.
The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the
provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 9 and the Town of
Mashpee Zoning By-laws.
Anthony Ferragamo represents the applicant at this hearing. They are seeking a
special permit to tear down the existing dwelling and rebuild a new dwelling. The Board
reviews the plans. The applicant is also seeking several variances to make this lot
buildable once the existing dwelling is torn down. This new dwelling will not be more
detrimental to the neighborhood and the Board feels this is a reasonable request. The
Board moves to grant the Special Permit.
