Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee November 25, 2005 and <br /> December 2, 2005, 2005, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert Nelson, Zella Elizenberry, <br /> Frederick Borgeson, Jonathan Furbush and Evano Cunha. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> William McKay represented himself at this hearing. He is seeking a special <br /> permit to build an accessory apartment The Board reviews the plans and sees that the <br /> existing structure showed on the plans does not connect to the house completely. Mr. <br /> McKay says that he will be removing the carport and making a true garage with the <br /> apartment above it. Site Plan/Design Review has approved this with it being attached to <br /> the main dwelling. There is a memo from the Conservation Agent stating that they have <br /> no problem with this application and it was only continued at the Conservation hearing <br /> due to a technicality.
