Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 24 and <br /> December 31, 1999, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> ' A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> a:. <br /> Wednesday, January 12, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, James E. <br />' Regan III and Robert G.Nelson. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 9 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> z Mr. Colombo represented his application and stated that he wants to supplement <br /> su lemen <br /> r�xu <br /> i <br /> s_ his income with the sale of a few cars. He is asking permission to display the vehicles for <br /> I <br /> sale on the subject property that is owned by David Simons owner of a plumbing supply <br /> 0,_ <br /> x , business. Mr. Colombo and Mr. Simons will act as partners in the car sale business. Mr. <br /> A _ <br /> S <br /> z Colombo said that there is plenty of room to park several vehicles in the rear of the lot <br />� and that he will park only one vehicle at a time in the front of the property. <br /> { <br /> Mr. Thomas O'Neill attended the meeting expressing concern with the direction <br /> of businesses in Mashpee. Mr. O'Neill said that the escalation of certain kinds of <br /> development in the area of Route 151 has resulted in unattractive clear cutting of the lots. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
