Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on November 3 and I'I <br /> November 10, 2000, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday,November 22, 2000, at which time the following members of the Zoning <br /> Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Robert G.Nelson, Zella E. 'I <br /> Elizenberry and Frederick R. Borgeson. Mr. Regan stepped down and left the room. 'I <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 40A, Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. I <br /> Mr. Anthony Ferragamo, architect for the project, represented the Petition. <br /> Messrs. Mark C. Gildea and Robert Clark also attended the meeting. Mr. Ferragamo <br /> stated that the existing building is situated on a trapezoid-shaped parcel of land that also <br /> has a sloping topography. <br /> Plans call for the first floor of the existing building to stay within the same <br /> footprint with construction of a square-shaped addition on the southerly side of the <br /> building. Mr. Ferragamo said that the single-story appearance would be maintained. <br /> Zoning By-laws require a 75-foot setback from Great Neck Road South and the proposal <br /> calls for a 64.4-foot setback. <br /> Storm waters from the parking lot would be handled according to the Town's <br /> newest storm water management laws and would be an improvement to Mashpee River <br /> Watershed. <br /> The Board of Health has approved the proposed installation of a new Title V <br /> SII <br /> septic system. The Design Review Committee has also approved the project. <br /> No comments were received from abutters. j <br />
