Harrison V-01-110 14 Pem Lane <br /> Map 89 Parcel 3G <br /> A Petition was filed on September 20, 2001 by Cheryl A. Harrison of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-25.I.9 of the Zoning By-laws for <br /> permission to exceed the maximum dock length to allow for construction of a pier, ramp <br /> and float on Mashpee River on property located in an R-5 zoning district at 14 Pem Lane <br /> i <br /> (Map 89 Parcel 3G) Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General <br /> Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, <br /> a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on October 5 and October <br /> 12, 2001, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A Public Hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, October 24, 2001, at which time the following members of the Zoning Board <br /> of Appeals were present and acting throughout: Edward M. Govoni, Robert G. Nelson <br /> and Zella E. Elizenberry. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A Section 10 and the Town of <br /> Mashpee Zoning By-laws. <br /> Mr. David Sanicki of Cape & Islands Engineering represented the Petition <br /> and stated that construction of the proposed pier, ramp and float would exceed the <br /> allowed 70-foot total length limit. He stated that the Petitioner's plans for an extended <br /> walkway and patio require filing for an amendment with the Conservation.Commission. <br /> The Conservation Commission has scheduled its hearing for the amended plans on <br /> November 1, 2001. The Shellfish Constable has approved the proposal. <br /> ,I <br /> No comments were received from abutters. <br />
