Introduction <br /> This correspondence is a formal appeal'of the Building Inspector's denial of Mr. <br /> Kenneth Litvack's (the "Applicant's") application for a building permit for the <br /> construction of a garage at the above-referenced property. This building permit <br /> application was filed as a new,complete building permit application and was submitted <br /> to Mr. William Hauck, Town of Mashpee Building Inspector (the "Building Inspector") <br /> on or about May 20, 1999. It is our position that the Building Inspector's denial of this <br /> building permit application was unmerited, unsubstantiated, and inappropriate, as will <br /> be detailed below. Furthermore, Mr. Hauck's denial correspondence, which was dated <br /> June 2, 1999,was submitted toour office in an untimely manner and failed to address <br /> the full scope of our analysis. <br /> This appeal is taken pursuant to M.G.L. c.40A, §8.
