V-98-143 2 Bright Coves Way <br /> Map 111 Block 41 <br /> A Petition was filed on October 1, 1998 by Dunhill Development Companies, <br /> Ltd. of Osterville, Massachusetts for a Variance from Section 174-31 of the Zoning <br /> By-laws for permission to vary the frontage requirements on property located in an <br /> R-3 zoning district at 2 Bright Coves Way(Map 111 Block 41), Mashpee, MA. <br /> (Owner of record: Alphonse A. and Donna I. Bochanowski.) <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, the Board of Appeals voted unanimously <br /> on November 18, 1998 to grant a Variance of 17.16 feet from the frontage requirements. <br /> The permit is conditioned upon compliance with plans of The BSC Group, Inc. dated <br /> October 6, 1998. <br /> A letter dated October 9, 1999 from Dunhill Companies, Ltd. requested that the <br /> Zoning Board of Appeals grant an extension of the above-referenced Variance for a <br /> period of six months. <br /> At the Public Hearing at the Mashpee Town Hall on Wednesday, October 27, <br /> 1999, the Zoning Board of Appeals voted unanimously to grant the extension of the <br /> Variance, V-98-143, for a period of six months. This was allowed in compliance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A, Section 10, which reads "If the rights <br /> authorized by a variance are not exercised within one year of the date of grant of such <br /> variance such rights shall lapse; provided, however, that the permit granting authority in <br /> its discretion and upon written application by the grantee of such rights may extend the <br /> time for exercise of such rights for a period not to exceed six months; and provided, <br /> further, that the application for such extension is filed with such permit granting authority <br /> prior to the expiration of such one year period". <br /> IN FAVOR: G� � 1 <br /> 1, IN FAVOR: <br /> IN FAVOR: /. � <br /> 82 6 <br />
