Board of Appeals Dunkin' Donuts - Amancio S. Correia SP-97-26 3.
n •
10. On May 13, 1998 the Board voted based upon the Applicant's plan, dated February
5, 1997 (rev. April 28, May 28, August 25, 1997 and April 16, 1998).
11. The Board found that the proposed issuance of a Special Permit as applied for by the
Applicant (and subsequently modified) will not adversely affect public health, safety
or welfare; create excessive demand on community facilities; have a significant
adverse impact on traffic flow and safety or otherwise be detrimental to the Town or
to the neighborhood.
For the foregoing reason the Board determined that the Applicant met the criteria
necessary to grant a Special Permit. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of
Appeals voted unanimously on May 13, 1998 to grant a Special Permit with the following
conditions:
1. The proposed drive-thru window on the westerly side of the building shall be
moved as close as practical to the front (Route 130) side of the building.
2. The proposed exit drive-way shall be widened to 16'.
3. A bicycle rack shall be installed on site.
4. A revised landscaping plan shall be presented for approval of the Design Review
Committee.
5. A landscape bond in the amount of$8,000.00 shall be posted through the Board of
Appeals office and placed in an interest bearing CD account by the Town
Treasurer to guaranty performance consistent with the landscaping plan.
6. The radius of the drive around the building should meet applicable criteria for fire
department apparatus.
7. Directional painted signs shall be installed in accordance with the plans submitted.
8. Stop signs shall be installed at the appropriate exits.
9. Do Not Enter internal signs shall be installed to prevent access at the entrance
drive.
10. No Parking signs shall be installed on Route 130 per the approval of the
Department of Public Works Director, R. Gregory Taylor.
