All of the ;I <br /> waste is transported to the transfer station at Otis and is then <br /> transported by rail to SEMASS. Seventy (70*) percent of theI' !I <br /> solid waste is being incinerated and recycling has been increased SMy ; <br /> from ten (10W) percent to twenty-four (24W) percent during the ,w9�'i' <br /> 1990s. The goal of this plan is to increase recycling to thirty <br /> (30%) percent by the year 2000 and thirty-five (35W) by the year <br /> 2004.
