The current update to the Regional ��'� <br /> Policy Plan calls for meeting the ten (10W) percent increase of <br /> affordable housingstock goal b the <br /> g y year 2015. Tom suggested <br /> the Board consider adopting the 2015 goal, which is more ;,+, <br /> realistic than the 2000 or 2010 goal. <br /> The Action Plan-The main focus has to do with providing <br /> situations where the Town is willing to deal with local <br /> initiative projects. The local initiative program essentially <br /> states that if the Board of Selectmen vote to approve a project <br /> with high density, various mechanisms for providing affordability <br /> in housing, the project can be forwarded to Board of Appeals <br /> under the Chapter 40B process.
