noting the crowding of the site and building size. He further
stated progress has been made in terms of communication between
Applicant and current owners . The greatest progress has been
made in the design issues raised by unit owners including size
` x ,h reduction of units, reconfiguration of the location of buildings,
yLr the addition of two new one-way roadways and sidewalks in certain
/ P, d;`' locations, an additional pool, and a pavilion. The number of
units has been reduced to one hundred forty-two (142) new units
for a total of one hundred fifty-six (156) , the original permit
was for one hundred seventy (170) , being a fourteen (14) unit
reduction. There have also been additional changes addressing
the concerns regarding garages and dumpsters.
Attorney Butler further stated they have not progressed to
the next stage of developing more specific architectural plans
and floor plans. He has not directly addressed some of the legal
r issues with Attorney Ford, who represented the unit owners at the
beginning of this Hearing. He stated that he has done some
research and has had communications with different entities
1 ' unrelated to the unit owners and feels confident that the
1w1 conceptual design localized site plan type issues that were of
►; ' r concern to the unit owners can be adequately addressed; the legal
► issues will fall into place.
Attorney Butler reported that although progress is being
made, he was not prepared to present more specific information
other than to answer questions.
{
Attorney Butler made a request to come back before the Board
in order to readdress some of the specific legal and site plan
modification issues. He also stated that he has had
communications with the Trustees of Reservations who now are in
possession of updated plans. Charlie Wyman has requested in
writing, a reconsideration of the division of, responsibilities
between the Town and Trustees (deeding land/dealing more directly
with the Town) to which they are not opposed.
IIII Ili Attorney Butler suggested Mr. Traczyk update the Board from
the unit owners' perspective- -The Chairman recognized Art
Traczyk for this purpose.
" ,'4 Mr. Traczyk confirmed that the unit owners have met with Mr.
,I Bornstein and his engineer several times. He stated there remain
, rr' .k;
some great concerns regarding buildings and their locations (20,
19 and additional buffering) . Mr. Traczyk was making reference
' •- , to Attorney Butler' s plan at this point. He mentioned their
►,' concern for the preservation of trees within the open space in
order to buffer, as much as possible, along the power line. They
did agree upon the two one-way streets; and from the five (5)
,k crescents originally proposed, there are three (3) remaining.
4,,
WIN , p4trjak Coffey asked how close the newly proposed plan is
` t-o the Qrzgnal plan.
i
NV
L.
