16 Great Neck Road North
Nashpee, Nassachusetts 02649
21 Emma Oakley Mills Way, Mashpee, MA 02649 (Map 37 Block 211)
Request: To divide a 28,400 s.f. parcel from 36 Sunset Strip (Map 37 Block 72A) to be
conveyed to Robert and Rachel Mills and merged with 21 Emma Oakley Mills
Way. (Map 37 Block 211)
Mr. Lehrer commented that neither the applicant nor Attorney were present this evening. This ANR
was withdrawn and refiled appropriately for the Boards consideration. The initial concern was that the
lot to be created gave no clear indication of intention to convey the lot to the Mills property. The Board
was concerned about creating a lot without appropriate fundamentals that would allow endorsement.
The notation added in this plan clearly defines the intent of the property owner to convey to Emma
Oakley Mills Way property. He recommends endorsing the approval not required into submission.
MOTION:
Ms. Waygan moved that the Planning Board determines this an approval not required plan.
Seconded by Mr. Balzarini.
Mr. Callahan signed and dated the Mylar.
NEW BUSINESS
Update from Weston & Sampson relative to the Comprehensive Plan.
Ms. Wells and Ms. Sweet remotely participated and are providing an update on what's going on behind
the scenes. Currently, they are in the middle of existing conditions. There are some kinks that need to
be worked out with the website contracting. Ms. Wells will provide an update on adjustments made to
the schedule, public engagement, as well as youth engagement.
Existing Conditions:
- Housing
- Economic Development
- Sustainability
- Natural Resources
- Land Use and Growth Management
- Heritage and Preservation
- Open Space and Recreation
- Municipal Buildings, Facilities, and Services
- Transportation and Circulation
Ms. Wells commented they plan on wrapping up the chapters on March 01, while keeping in mind these
aren't fixed. There will be more feedback after stakeholder interviews and public engagements, as they
are always a work in progress. A platform for sharing and exchanging of information has been
identified.
Mr. Balzarini asked if the existing conditions are listed in order of priority.
2
