Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />February 28, 2022 <br />Discussion and, Approyal of Draft 91 Ma2,., 2022 Annual ,and Special Town Meet n Warrant <br />Articles: (continued) <br />Petition Articles: (continued) <br />Articles: Solar Related Articles - HELD <br />Review was deferred to the next meeting. <br />Article: To add a new sub -Section to any solar Energy System Overlay District zoning bylaw <br />by adding wording to the Required Performance Standards for Small, Medium and <br />Large -Scale Solar Energy Systems. <br />Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to support the referenced Petition Article. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Weeden. <br />After discussion the motion was withdrawn and the article was HELD to the next meeting. <br />Discussion and Approval of Adding Articles to May 2, 2022 Town Me- Warrants: <br />... <br />AddinArticles to Mai Special TownmMeetin; Warrant: <br />The Select Board reviewed and approved of the following articles for placement on the Special <br />Town Meeting Warrant of May 2, 2022. <br />Article: To appropriate $253,500 to cover costs associated with the identified priority <br />restoration projects including improvements to fish passage on Johns Pond and <br />Mashpee Pond, improvements to storm water runoff treatment at Mashpee Neck <br />Road for water quality and the replacement of the culvert at Red Brook. <br />The identified (3) projects are eligible for federal funding. To quality, the Town is required to <br />contribute a 25% match. <br />Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to include & support the referenced STM Article. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Gottlieb, yes <br />Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes Opposed, none <br />
