Charlie asked if they proposed to rip up the dra]-rage which <br /> was in there'? <br /> Doug stated they believe existing drainage sys teen can work <br /> with this profile . <br /> Doug stated that now with the profile resolved they willl. <br /> engineer the roadway. <br /> Doug stated that they cannot be held responsible for the <br /> entire signalization, but obviously will participate. <br /> They should have a meeting soon with District 7 , Tom and <br /> Ernie to resolve the whole issue. <br /> Buff stated that many people fee strongly about opening Jobs <br /> Fishing Road for the summer* Fields Point can go either way <br /> Tony stated that they should build the road correctly and <br /> then open it - don' t try to rush it. <br /> Will Hanson stated that if they have a quality road with no <br /> signalization will have a real problem. <br /> Tom stated that there probably will not be a signal f or <br /> years , the interim solution is a traffic cop. <br /> Judy stated that she does not have problem opening it th-%::_-) <br /> way it is. <br /> Tony signed the sketch "concept profile/cross section" and <br /> dated it. <br /> Zoning Ordinance. <br /> Doug stated that they revised the ordinance based on. the <br /> Planning Board comments . <br /> They would like to discuss 151 North property. They have <br /> been negotiating to get a new supermarket on that property <br /> and are close to reaching an agreement to move Angelo' s to <br /> that area. <br /> Tom explained that it will require a Planning Board special <br /> permit because of its size. <br /> Doug stated that they want to facilitate the process and <br /> move onto the Commission. <br /> They presented plans for the 151 North property. This will <br /> not be an area of specialty stores. <br /> The supermarket will be 40 , 000 sq feet with 10 , 000 sq feet <br /> for expansion. Their goal is to keep visibility from Gr:-�.t <br /> Neck Rd to a minimum. There is a Great Neck Road entry. <br /> The outside is all controlled by Fields Faint as to what it <br /> looks like. <br /> The medical center is still up in the air, the hospital has <br /> not yet decided where they will go. <br /> Charlie asked if there has been any contact with the fire <br /> chief regarding circulation within the area. <br /> Doug stated that they had a preliminary discussion. Fire <br /> Chief ' s stated that his main interest is in circle route and <br /> connection to Great Neck road but the rest is good. <br /> Charlie requested that they submit the plan with topograpl�y <br /> for the entire parcel and block out the chunks of lti.nd which <br /> they will be concerned with for sections of the p-L-o j �c t - <br /> 5 <br />
