Town of Mashpee Article 2 <br /> Annual Town Meeting To see if the Town will vote to amend and supplement <br /> Mashpee High School each prior vote of the Town that authorized the <br /> Monday, October 16,2017 borrowing of money to pay capital project costs to <br /> provide that, in accordance with Chapter 44, Section <br /> Town Meeting opened at 7.21 PM 20 of the General Laws, as amended by the Acts of <br /> Voters Present 320 2016,c.218, § 67,the premium received by the Town <br /> Quorum 0 upon the sale of any bonds or notes thereunder,less the <br /> costs of preparing,issuing and marketing such bonds or <br /> Barnstable,ss: notes, may be applied to pay project costs and the <br /> amount authorized to be borrowed for each such project <br /> Greetings to the Constables of the Town, shall be reduced by the amount of any such premium so <br /> applied,or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Submitted by the Town Treasurer <br /> you are hereby directed to notify and summon the <br /> inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified Explanation: This article is needed to amend bonding <br /> to vote in the elections to meet at the Mashpee High authorization articles that were approved prior to <br /> School on Monday, the 161 day of October 2017 at passage of the Municipal Modernization Act in August <br /> 7:00 p.m.for the following purposes: 2016,so the premiums received upon the sale of such <br /> bonds may be applied to the costs of the project being <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following financed and to reduce the amounts authorized to be <br /> Warrant. borrowed by the applied amount. <br /> Article 1 The Board of Selectmen recommends Town <br /> Meeting approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer The Finance Committee recommends Town <br /> the sum of $27,145 from revenue available for <br /> appropriation to the Principal inside 2 1/2 account, or Meeting approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> take any other action relating thereto.
