16 Great Neck R.oadNorth
►dashpee, -'Atassachusetts 02649
Ms. Waygan would like an email reminder, they will be working on stakeholders for a while, now its
crunch time.
NEW BUSINESS
Discussion and possible vote regarding the clear cutting at 64, 58, and 54 Algonquin Avenue
and 420 Nathan Ellis Highway and referral to the Cape Cod Commission
Ms. Waygan was unaware if the Planning Board had to address this right away. There was a stop
work order from the DPW for the above addressed.
Mr. Lehrer was not able to meet with Town Counsel yesterday. At this point he is questioning the
endorsement from the Planning Board in 1986 prior to the establishment of the CCC. It may be
exempt from Commission review but he will seek their opinion. He would like to get clarity and report
back. He can seek an informal jurisdiction determination without making a formal referral. The town
has dealt with a similar situation in prior years.
MOTION:
Mr. Richardson made a motion to seek an informal jurisdictional review determined by
Commission staff. Seconded by Ms. Faulkner. All in favor.
Ms. Waygan would like this on the agenda for the next time. If there will be a possible vote, she asked
the Town Planner to write that in.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Lynne Barbee- She is curious about the turnout for Saturday and asked if Weston & Sampson sent
out any news.
Mr. Lehrer commented there was no PSA due to COVID within Mashpee TV. The newsletter was
distributed.
Ms. Waygan would like another email reminder not with the newsletter. Terri Cook has the email of
every Committee and Board member in this town. She would like to push that out through her office.
Ms. Waygan would like those email addresses is possible.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION:
Mr. Richardson moved to adjourn the meeting of the Planning Board at 10:19a.m. Seconded by
Ms. Faulkner. All in favor.
5
