16 Great .Neck R.oadNorth <br />Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649 <br />CHAIRMANS REPORT <br />Ms. Waygan went to the Select Board meeting encouraging residents to participate in the July LCP. <br />TOWN PLANNER REPORT <br />Introducing Alex Beltran, Planning Department Intern <br />Mr. Lehrer formally introduced Alex, he has been helping with the community engagement activities for <br />the LCP. He is building questionnaires for department heads. Currently he is a University of Florida <br />undergrad and just finished his junior year with hopes on graduating a semester early. He is studying <br />Sustainability and Built Environment and getting a crash course in Municipal Planning. He will be here <br />through August. <br />Ms. Waygan said she is very appreciative of his time and welcomed him. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />Cape Cod Commission - <br />Community Preservation Committee - <br />Design Review - <br />Plan Review - <br />Environmental Oversight Committee - <br />Historic District Commission - <br />Their Facebook page has a link for a <br />survey/questionnaire for a county wide childcare <br />assessment. If childcare is needed, if you are a <br />provider, or anyone who may want more <br />information, Ms. Waygan directed them to the <br />survey. <br />No Report <br />Two projects, one on Industrial Drive looking to add <br />gate, include landscaping, and a 24 ft. sign to <br />reflect current occupant, approval in 11 and R3. <br />Second project on Mercantile Way, request for <br />9,972 s.f. building under 10,000 s.f. does not <br />require DRI, 14 contractor bays, no sign. Floor <br />drains go right into tight tank. Mr. Lehrer noted if <br />the building plans on bringing in vehicles, it's a <br />requirement to remove potential industrial waste, <br />such as oil, lubricants, and fluids collected and not <br />leached into the ground water. <br />No Report <br />No Report <br />No Report <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />MOTION: <br />Mr. Balzarini made a motion to adjourn the meeting of the Planning Board at 9:55p.m. Seconded <br />by Mr. Fulone.
