14 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />July 11, 2022 <br />TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br />Parking MRestrictions: A Public Hearing will be held on August 8, 2022 to consider parking restrictions within and <br />on Town ways and properties. <br />ARPA Funding; Certification has been met for this funding opportunity. <br />Host Communi wAgreement The Host Community Agreement with Tradesmen Exchange LLC has been executed. <br />OneCape Summit: The 8th Annual OneCape Summit will be held next month. <br />COVID: 16 new positive cases reported, 11 out of isolation. <br />October. Town.Meeting: 14 Town Meeting articles have been submitted. <br />Mashl2ge Police Department: The Mashpee Police Department has been recognized by the New England <br />Association of Chiefs of Police. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Sarah Coleman Communications Manager indicated the Cape Cod Commission is hosting the 8' Annual OneCape <br />Summit on August 1st and 2nd at the Wequassett Resort in Harwich. The Select Board and Town Managers are <br />invited to attend the breakfast prior to the onset of each meeting. Topics to be reviewed include efforts to improve <br />housing and affordability, water quality, climate change, and regional vitality. <br />Lynn Barbee of Surf Drive commented on the action taken by the Select Board regarding appointments to the <br />Affordable Housing Committee and Sewer Commission. Ms. Barbee stated she is astonished and very disappointed <br />the candidates with the most experience was not supported. <br />Mary Waygan: Chair of the Planning Board announced the next Local Comprehensive Plan workshop will be held <br />on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Mashpee Library at 10:00 a.m. The meeting is open to all. The topic will be built <br />systems. This includes traffic, transportation, wastewater and infrastructure. Ms. Waygan strongly encouraged <br />attendance. It is expected the document will be very rich and robust. <br />
