• Shredder/chipper is a non-issue since the Town would not permit the community garden to purchase and operate one due to liability issues. • Tree donations: Greening Cape Cod—no update ADDITIONAL TOPICS: • Lynn Harris announced that she will not be running for another term on the MCGAC Board. Her end date for previous term is June 2022. Board members were sorry to see her leave since she has been an invaluable member since the beginning. She will remain an active gardener and will still help out. • Board members discussed concern that Mohamad Fand was gardening outside of the community garden boundaries without permission, and more specifically was setting a precedent for any other of the 33 community gardeners to do the same. Their conclusion was that such expansion was not within the spirit and the confines of the community garden establishment by the Town of Mashpee. Virginia said she would communicate same to Mohamad and ask him to remove the plantings either to his community garden bed or to an entirely different location. • Lynn Harris recommended that the Board have three pro forma notification letters for gardeners: (1) For gardeners who are not maintaining their plots, asking if they need some assistance, with a deadline for response. (2) Follow-up for non-responsive gardeners indicating what Rule(s) and Regulation(s)that are not being complied with,with deadline for response. (3) Follow-up determination letter that the garden plot assignment is being withdrawn, with specified date. This will be addressed in detail/finalized at the June 2022 Board meeting. ADJOURNMENT Ms. Harris motioned to adjourn. Ms. Carberry seconded. Vote: 5-0-0 unanimous. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM.
