Flood Zone, Buffer Zone — Pages 13 21,: (continued) <br />Strict rules are a concern, however the environment as it currently exists cannot handle the impacts of <br />development. There is a dire need to make corrective measures in the area of water quality to protect the Town <br />of Mashpee in the present and for future generations. The Town is paying resources to address this issue, and the <br />citizens of Mashpee should make the decision on the articles before them. It was noted Dr. Howes presents his <br />findings regarding water quality studies to the Select Board on a regular basis.
