12 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />January 9, 2023 <br />Discussion and Ap l9yal of Letter to the SandwichBoardSelectmen with Regard to the NSG Village_Green- <br />1wProjectdContinued from December 19 2022 Meeting (continued) <br />The Sandwich Board of Selectmen was noted to have the same concerns as the Town of Mashpee. They <br />appreciate the interest in the Town of Mashpee and will maintain an open line of communication on this matter. <br />Selectman Wyman -Colombo will be meeting with their Health Agent and Town Manager to keep abreast of this <br />concern on behalf of the Town of Mashpee. <br />Additional comments recommended in the draft letter include; the vote of the Select Board was unanimous to <br />highlight their concerns, and on page two to add the proposal is a development of regional impact (DRI). <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to approve the transmission of the letter as drafted to the Town of <br />Sandwich with the edits as recommended by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Wyman -Colombo. <br />VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, yes <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, none <br />LIAISON REPORTS <br />Assembly of Delegates: <br />Pending before the Assembly of Delegates is the use of ARPA funds, an estimated $11 million to address the <br />range of housing needs on Cape Cod. When finalized it is anticipated this would be a competitive grant <br />favoring projects that are shovel ready. <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />Discussion and Approval of, Select Board, Reresentative: Ca_Cod &Islands Water Protection Fund ~Board: <br />Selectman Wyman -Colombo offered to serve as Mashpee's representative to the Cape Cod & Islands Water <br />Protection Fund Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former Selectman Andrew R. Gottlieb. <br />Motion made by Selectman Sherman to appoint Selectman Wyman -Colombo to the Cape Cod & Islands <br />Water Protection Fund Board. <br />Motion seconded by Selectman Cotton. <br />VOTE: 4-1. <br />Roll Call Vote: <br />Selectman Weeden, yes Selectman Cotton, yes Selectman O'Hara, no <br />Selectman Sherman, yes Selectman Wyman -Colombo, yes Opposed, (1) <br />
