12 <br />Mashpee Select Board <br />Minutes <br />January 23, 2022 <br />WATER QUALITY UPDATES <br />At the last meeting Selectman Wyman -Colombo requested the Select Board take a leadership stance for clean <br />water. Chairman Weeden abiding by this call to action requested the Select Board re -schedule roundtable <br />workshop sessions to bring multiple groups together to work towards achieving corrective actions and progress in <br />the area of water quality. <br />It was noted the Select Board previously held several positive roundtable discussions with the engagement of <br />Town Officials. The regular meetings were placed on hold due to the pandemic. <br />It was agreed that findings from previous actions would be discussed. This includes new information on the <br />proposed regulatory framework for Title V regulations and requirements for Natural Resource Areas imposed by <br />the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). <br />Prior to the roundtable discussion it was agreed the new Health Agent would be invited to attend the next Select <br />Board meeting as an introductory session. <br />It was agreed the Select Board would compile a list of questions to be discussed to contribute to the working <br />agenda for the next roundtable meeting. This information will be compiled by the Office of the Town Manager <br />and forwarded to the applicable departments to bring forth advancement to the productivity of this meeting. <br />In other business it was noted the Cape Cod Water Protection Collaborative has a vacant position. <br />TOWN MANAGER UPDATES <br />Wastewater: The short and long term financial agreements under the State Revolving Fund have been executed at <br />an interest rate of 0% over a term of 30 years. <br />Town Auction: Surplus items will be placed on auction next week. <br />Town Meeting Articles:m The deadline for articles to be submitted for the Special and Annual Town Meeting <br />Warrants is Monday, February 13, 2023. <br />Ca aM.Immovement?Epgram, The CIP is expected to convene next week to deliberate on capital projects <br />proposed for the FY2024 capital improvement program. <br />Cell Tower: All tasks relative to the cell tower have been completed by the Town of Mashpee. <br />
